Privacy Policy

Effective August 19, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how JoinBoomerang, LLC, a Florida limited liability company (“JoinBoomerang,” “Handler,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), collects, uses, discloses and protects information in connection with Handler, Handler Bidder Suite and related services (collectively, the “Services”).

1. Information we collect

Account and company information. We may collect names, company names, job roles, email addresses, phone numbers, account credentials and preferences.

Bidder Suite and project data. We may process project names, locations, bid due dates, bidder and subcontractor contacts, trade information, invitation status, compliance status and related project records.

Documents. Bidder Suite may process business documents such as certificates of insurance, W-9 forms, bidder agreements, licenses, prequalification materials and other files uploaded by users. These documents can contain personal or sensitive business information, including tax-identification information supplied by the document owner.

Communications. Depending on enabled features, we may process email, SMS, voice calls, call recordings, transcripts, messages, attachments and AI-generated summaries or classifications.

Integration data. If you connect a third-party service, we may receive and process data authorized through that connection, such as files, project records, contacts, email metadata or messages. We request only permissions needed for the configured workflow.

Usage and device data. We may collect browser, device, IP address, log, diagnostic, security and usage information to operate and protect the Services.

2. How we use information

We use information to authenticate users; provide project, bidder, compliance, communication and document-management features; operate AI-assisted workflows; send configured communications; provide support; detect abuse and security incidents; maintain and improve the Services; process payments; enforce agreements; and comply with law.

3. AI processing

We may use AI systems and service providers to extract fields from documents, summarize communications, identify missing requirements, classify records, produce suggested responses and support other configured workflows. AI-generated results are used to assist business workflows and should be reviewed when material decisions are involved.

4. How we disclose information

We may disclose information to service providers that help us operate the Services, such as cloud hosting, authentication, database, communication, AI, analytics, document-processing and payment providers; to organizations and users with whom you intentionally share project or bidder information; to connected third-party systems you authorize; in a business transfer; or when required to comply with law, enforce agreements, protect rights or address security threats.

We do not sell personal information. We do not sell Customer Data for money or use bidder compliance documents for unrelated advertising.

5. Bidder Passport sharing

Reusable Bidder Passport information is associated with the bidder or subcontractor organization. Documents are not intended to become public merely because they are stored in a Passport. When a bidder attaches or submits a document to a project or invitation, authorized users of the applicable construction company may receive access to that document for the related bid or compliance workflow.

6. Third-party integrations

Integrations with services such as ShareFile, construction platforms, procurement systems, email providers, CRM systems, accounting products and e-signature services are subject to those providers’ own privacy policies and authorization terms. Disconnecting an integration stops new synchronization but may not automatically delete information already copied into either system.

7. Data retention

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Services, maintain business and security records, satisfy contractual obligations, comply with law and resolve disputes. Retention may vary by data type and customer configuration. Authorized account administrators may request deletion where applicable.

8. Security

We use administrative, technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect information, including authentication, access controls and restricted storage for Bidder Suite documents. No online system can guarantee absolute security.

9. Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, portability or restriction of certain personal information, or to object to certain processing. You may also opt out of eligible marketing communications. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request, and some information may be retained where legally permitted or required.

10. Business customers and end users

For some information processed on behalf of a customer organization, that customer determines the purposes and means of processing and JoinBoomerang acts as a service provider or processor. Requests concerning data controlled by a customer may need to be directed to that customer.

11. Children

The Services are designed for businesses and are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through the Services.

12. International use

Information may be processed in the United States and other locations where our service providers operate. Where required, we use appropriate contractual or legal mechanisms for cross-border transfers.

13. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as the Services and legal requirements evolve. We will post the revised policy with an updated effective date and may provide additional notice of material changes.
