This Privacy Policy describes how JoinBoomerang, LLC ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and shares information in connection with the Handler website and services (the "Service").

Information we collect

Contact and account information. When you submit an interest form or create an account, we collect information like your name, company, email address, and phone number.

Call data. When Handler answers calls for a business, it collects what callers share on the call — such as name, phone number, service address, and the described problem — plus recordings, transcripts, and AI-generated summaries of those calls. The AI assistant identifies itself at the start of every call.

Usage data. Basic technical information from your browser, and a small amount of local storage for preferences (like your light/dark theme choice).

How we use information

To operate the Service — answering and routing calls, scheduling appointments, producing transcripts and dashboards for the business you contacted or work with; to respond to inquiries; to bill for the Service; and to improve reliability. We do not sell personal information.

Who we share it with

Service providers who help us run the Service: voice and telephony infrastructure (Vapi and its providers), database and authentication hosting (Supabase), web hosting (Vercel), and payment processing (Stripe — we never see or store full card numbers). Each processes data only to provide their service to us. We may also disclose information if required by law.

Call recordings

Calls handled by the Service may be recorded and transcribed to provide the Service. If you are a caller and do not wish to be recorded, you can hang up and ask the business for a human callback, or tell the assistant — it will connect you with a person.

Retention

We keep account data while your account is active, and call recordings and transcripts as long as needed to provide the Service to the business, after which they may be deleted. Businesses can request deletion of their data at any time.

Your choices

You can request access to or deletion of your personal information, and opt out of any outbound communications at any time — opt-outs are honored immediately. Contact us using the form on the homepage.

Children

The Service is for businesses and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect their information.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted here with an updated date.
